Case Study: Tempo Healthcare Marketplace
Tempo, created by the Still Me caregiving team, is an innovative healthcare marketplace. They are based in Australia and have been recognized at the Australian Women in Small Business Champion Awards and is a CurtInnovation Awards finaliist.
We sit down with the founder, Nicola Cuthbert, to learn more about why she started Tempo and how Blaze helped turn her vision into reality.
What is Tempo?
Tempo is a two-sided marketplace connecting freelance healthcare professionals and healthcare providers in real-time, filling shift gaps and saving time and money for both parties.
Who are your customers or users?
Tempo's users include freelance healthcare professionals, such as nurses, occupational therapists, dieticians, speech pathologists and physiotherapists. On the other side are healthcare providers, including hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, home care providers and other organizations, seeking to efficiently fill shift gaps in real-time by accessing this diverse pool of skilled professionals.
What are the key features and functionalities of the app?
Blaze.tech assisted in building the Tempo web app, enabling healthcare providers to view healthcare professionals' qualifications and skills before accepting them for shifts. The platform allows negotiating pay rates and provides real-time communication for seamless coordination.
What problem did you want to solve with Blaze?
Previously, with Still Me, the healthcare company faced a manual process for filling shift gaps. However, the introduction of the Tempo web app, built by Blaze, transformed the process into a cost-effective, time-saving, and skill-matching solution. Now, healthcare providers can easily view professionals' qualifications, negotiate pay rates, and communicate in real-time, streamlining the entire shift-filling experience.
